I was born in 1981 in a small town in the former GDR, Germany.
From 2001 to 2007 I studied Illustration at the University of the Arts in Berlin. During that time I studied Fine Art in New York City for four months, and nine months in Liverpool studying Illustration.
Since graduating I have been working as a freelance illustrator and designer for various clients such as The New York Times, NZZ, taz, The Guardian, Crafts Magazine, McKinsey Quarterly, meatpaper, The Drawbridge, Businessweek, Berliner Festspiele and Jüdisches Museum Berlin.
