The NYC Prints

In 2005 I studied Fine Arts at Hunter College in New York City. I was an exchange student for the fall semester.

I attented the intaglio class of Aleksandar Duravcevic and learned the aquatint technique.

I made eight etchings and bound them into a book called the NYC Prints.

Before I started to etch five to six different grey scales, I made detailed sketches, which I then transferred onto the copperplates.

As we could pick our own topics, I decided to use my impressions of the city.
