"Chicken, Porn, Brawl – German Village Stories"

My first idea for my final project for university was to illustrate stories.
So I was looking for a scenery and stories.

I picked the contemporary German village with the intention to work with this both narrow and idyllic place.

With the village as a topic I soon found a very fascinating field: everyone knows each other, it is a strong and caring community, it is isolated and narrow, deep and dangerous.

So I started to research in local newspapers and found stories about cattle shows, murders, quarrels, traditions and other activities …

In the end I created a fictitious little village, put the stories in and observed the characters.
